Skybound Harvest
★★★★☆ 4.1
Skybound Harvest drops you on a drifting sky-island where you grow crops, tend odd creatures, and slowly expand across smaller islands you reach by airship. It's cozy at heart but there's a planning layer underneath about water, wind, and which plot gets sun.
The day-to-day loop is relaxing and the art is bright and clean. What surprised me was how much the wind direction mattered — it changes daily and affects crops and travel, so you end up actually paying attention instead of just tapping.
It can get repetitive once your islands are set up, and the late game needs more goals. But for a comfort game to open each evening, it fits the bill nicely.
What we liked
- Cozy loop with a light strategy twist
- Wind and weather actually matter
- Clean, cheerful art
